For Day 1 of my creativity challenge I decided to do something that I thought would be super easy- an envelope. Once I figured it out it really was easy, but the process to get to easy wasn’t so, well, easy!
Pumpkin (11) and I persevered managing to figure out how to make origami envelopes. Goose (6) got bored because it took us too long to find a useful tutorial- off she went with paper scraps to enlist Papa’s help in making paper airplanes.
I have a ton of scrapbook paper so I decided to use that for our envelopes. I have several friends that a letter is long overdue so I’ll be opening these up, write a letter on the white side, fold ’em back up, and mail. Next time I’ll write before I fold!
If you try these out yourself I’d love to hear about it in the comments below. Happy Creating!
